When I tamed my blood tick on Monday it was a ground only pet. Today I log on and it is flying. Is this normal?

I tamed one of the blue face ticks out by the frog marsh and its still ground bound today. Maybe its a certain npc that does what youre describing, do you remember the particular beast you tamed?

Do you use the animal companion talent if so that is why the first pet stays grounded while second flys same with any flying pet.
