So does he still exist? Been looking for the last few days for that elusive hydra.

He does, he just has a very long respawn timer and is a pet sought after by many hunters due to his unique color.

Not sure if you've tried it yet, but if you're having trouble finding a rare, pop on WM. 9 times out of 10 you will be able to find it with WM on.

I have been switching between warmode and even have alts on diffrent servers to help look for him. Guess i just have to get lucky lol

Oh man, I remember camping for Trigore back in the day! He has an insane respawn timer, between 23-25 hours, not factoring in any cross-realm phasing.

I got super lucky when he popped up in the wee hours of the morning (between 3-5 a.m.) after all my fellow competitors had logged out for the night. I started camping the prior morning around 10 a.m., if I remember correctly. I never left the screen except for bio breaks. I was in it to win it! Thankfully, my husband understands me (and all my unreasonable hunter pet insanity ) and took care of dinner that night so I wouldn't need to leave the computer. I was exhausted but felt it was well worth it in the end!

I still see him every now and then, but his spawn time is insane. Forget 23-25 hours, I've heard and read upwards of 48 hours, and I believe it. I was there to camp when hydras were first made available, and boy, we were in for the long haul.

But I'm actually not 100% sure what his spawn timer is. 24-48 is what I've always heard.
