Race change and Glitch Tames

Hey,

long time lurker here.

I've got a question about race changes and glitch tames.

If I race change will my glitch tames (Oily Wolf / Burning Boar) lose their effects?
Has anyone tried this recently?

I tried to do a race change on the PTR, but the glitch tames lose their effect by copying my character on to the PTR.

No, it does not affect your glitch tames. I have faction changed, race changed and server changed, and none of these affect your hunter pets, appearance-buffed or otherwise.
