so i had nothing to do and i was just thinking about my pets in cata and just relized that i rememberd somone saying that they knew that the rare spawn crockilisk in loch-modan was going to be a new modle or somthing similr to that topic. and i just thought if gosh haldir isnt a new ID then i shuld just go tame him now and save all the trouble camping for him in cataclysm thencause more people will be after him then.

so really my question is, is gosh haldir a new NPC/ID or is he the same model as the rare spawn crockilisk in loch-modan (A.K.A called "Large Loch Crocolisk" the yellow skin one)

and srry if this has been mentioned before. i just couldnt find my answer

From what I understand...Gosh-haldir will be a Cata model croc (dunno if its unique or not) and will share the ID with LLC

Gosh-Haldir: http://cata.wowhead.com/npc=2476

Note the identical ID numbers at the end of the url. The Large Loch Crocolisk will indeed turn into the new-model rare.

I've gone out and tamed a few pets I know will change models in anticipation. Not this particular one (Argenta would be very jealous about sharing Aoani's attention...) but a few others.
