Arcturis doesn't want a new Mommy. ;_;

I think I'm losing my mind. I've done quite a bit of research on Arcturis and I've been sitting in his spawn point since 11PM EST.. two days ago. The longest I've logged off for was for reset and three hours ago because of an electrical storm. I'm exhausted, my eyes burn, and I'm going to cry - again. Is this normal? ;_;

You mean "is this normal that hunters cry because they couldn't get their favourite pet"? Yes, this is normal. For hunters at least.

Haha, that and is it normal for him not to spawn in for the last 48 hours? (Apparently he spawned and was caught by a hunter at 10:30AM EST on November 28th.)

New confirmed strategy to get super-rare pets: go on a message board and cry about not getting it.
Oddly, it worked for me too a couple of times.

Congratulations! Arcturis is so lovely.

I've had similar experiences, only for me it seems to do the trick to ask in General chat if anyone has seen this or that rare spawn. Always seems to lure them out of hiding. It's like they're listening.

In my case, it was asking someone to keep an eye open for them for me. It worked with Krush (although the guy keeping an eye open actually *was* the one who spotted him), Ainamiss, and Slaverjaw. Olm pre-patch, too, come to think of it ("Say, have you seen Olm?" Seconds later, "... never mind.")

Obviously I'm going to have to start asking people to watch for rares more often!
