Spirit Wolf question?

Ok the method that you obtain the spirit wolf where it dies and doesnt come back, my spirit wolf is showing its look when i hit Shift + P is this normal? i have had it in my stables for a while so that may be why or just may be cause the glitch. is anyone's does this?

mine shows as a white wolf in its stables.
Try let it die , see if it stays. you can still get new ones anyway?

I know i was thinking about that too, cause im getting pretty good at it

Oh not in my stables but when i hit shift + p it will bring up the pet details and will have its look but in stables it will show it as a normal wolf
