Got ya Madexx (You little devil you)

I started camping for Madexx last week Monday (17/01) for about 4 to 6 hours a day while watching TV and such. On that Friday I even pulled a 12 hour camp in that god forsaken desert but I got nothing >_<

It wasn't until Saturday midday, after camping for 5 hours, in the middle of a patrol sweep I see him die at the hands of a Warlock. Man it broke my heart to see him dead... and it was the Black one that I wanted too.



So when I camped him the next day I was sure to have a macro saying that I'd pay gold if someone spots him and lets me know.

Odd thing is... I was there about 6 hours before midnight (which would have been 6 hours after I saw him die, and midnight would have been his 12 hour mark) But I didn't get a spawn.

I patrolled the whole time I was there and even had friends camping/ hanging around the North and South spawn points. But no luck at all.

That Sunday I was super freaking determined to get Madexx. So at 6pm I began what I planned on being a 12 hour camp...

At about 5am the next morning (11 hours later) I couldn't stay awake any longer... So I decided to call it. As I was telling one of my online friends that "I'm done and going to bed" ... A Green Madexx spawns right in front of me

Was probably my best tame ever.



I never thought of getting the Green colour. I was really hard out for either Red or Black, but the Green is very cool (My fave RL colour actually). I've camped and tamed a lot of rares (Including all 6 spirit beasts) But Madexx would have to be my hardest. I'm going to do it again though sometime soon for a Red one

Lol, grats! I think I would actually have to agree that green looks better with you than black would have. It's odd how he seems to spawn right in front of people at times. All of my Madexx sightings have been where he appears right on top of me.

Congrats, glad you got him and I agree with everyone else who posted, green looks really nice next to your undead. I got my bronze by pure accident yesterday and that used to be my least favorite color, but now I can't see my blood elf with any other color but bronze now. ^_^

The green looks great with you! I'm sorry you came upon the black one dead. I have the black and the green but have really been wanting the blue... still, I'm not sure I could find it in my heart to give up either of the other two.

I agree that green looks awesome with your char! Amazing how they tend to pop up and usually the first madexx you get.. is pretty much almost perfect for your char. Its happened with almost everyone ive talked to!

I'm helping another hunter friend of mine tame a Madexx of his very own. But sadly we camped using my tame-time as a reference, but Madexx being the busy scorpion that he is, hasn't shown up yet.
