I need him to finish off my stables. But I've been camping him for hours on and off this week. One of the day, my hunter sat 14 hours in the air waiting for him to spawn before I gave up for sleep. Today, I'm closing in to 15 hours. I'm trying to decide if I should fore-go sleep or not. ._.

I've read somewhere on wowhead that he has more than 1 spawn point. Is that true? I've been sitting here at the lodge. Any insights? =/

In my experience I've only ever seen him at the Lodge spawn point.
He's a toughy to get though - all of the Northrend rares are. Good luck!

1 spawn point but he also (typically) has a long,long,long spawn timer.

All the others I just kinda flew by every now and then, and there they are. This one is my LONGEST camp. Terrorpene took 7 hours, Jadefang a couple of hours on and off. I need motivation to keep going. lol

Arcturis has only one pop point, but he compensates with a very long spawn timer.
If you want him that bad you're willing to forgo sleep AND can actually afford it, RL-wise, by all means go for it.
In my opinion he is well worth it. As it turns out, majority of the hunters like Loque'nahak the most, so if it's them you want to impress, just check Amberpine at early hours and he;ll be there, finally.
If you want him to love and cherish as your faithful companion... Yea, forget sleeping, you won't be able to sleep anyway.

PROTIP: They always pop at XX:X0 hours. I mean HOUR:10, 20, 30 and so on. From my experience, Northrend beasts usually pop at full hours while Cata ones like 30 minutes mark the most. From my own experience only, so don't go blaiming me if this wasn't the case for you.

Arcturis ranges between 20 - 30 hours usually.

YES! I just tamed him. =D Was watching TV when my npcscan went off. I thought it was another alliance messing with me, but sure enough it was him. It was 11:22 when he spawned. Close to the half hour/hour mark. Believe me, this IS my longest camp time. haha.

All my rare pets for WotLK and Cata is complete. =D

He just popped up on Stormrage Eu @ 9.22am, been waiting since 11pm, thought i may have missed him as dozed off a couple of times, Guildies said afterwards i should of gone to go download NPC scan

I just killed him. :[ I already have him, and I tried for about half an hour to find someone to tame him, but even on Alliance side I got no bites. It makes me sad when level 85 hunters go "What's Arcturis?"

My boyfriend's hunter might be 74 by the time he respawns...

Killed him about 6 times after Cata, seeing as nobody is in Grizzly Hills anymore (Atleast very few) he is up alot, and nobody there who would want him
