I've been looking for Sambas as well. I've been camping for multiple 6+ hour sessions the past 5 days and just haven't come across it once which I find very strange. What is the spawn timer of Sambas? I spoke to another hunter earlier today as well and he hasn't seen him spawn even during 12+ hour camp sessions. Has anyone been able to find him recently? I'd really love to tame him as one of my companions

I am pretty sure his spawn as well as Karoma's is bugged. I've spent probably over 40 hours looking for Sambas over the past week and I have not seem him even once. One other hunter I met camping has had the same issue. We both camped in large 6-12 hour chunks and haven't seen a spawn. I think there is a phasing issue in Twilight Highlands even though Sambas and Karoma spawn in non-phased areas. After an hour or so, the hunter and I stopped being able to see each other despite being in the exact same place on the map which shouldn't be happening.

I had thought something along those lines might happen. Might've happened after the pre-legion patch. Bummer cause he fits really well with my human hunter.

I just wanted to confirm that Sambas IS still in the game and tameable post 7.0.3 Pre-Legion patch. I've just caught him myself after a long hunt at 06:50 GMT on EU server Terokkar. I too had begun to wonder if he was still accessible after long 6-7hr+ hunting sessions. But there he was the second I logged on this morning. I caught him at the 68,25 location.
Just thought I'd let you know he is still in there and not to give up!

Sorry if Noob Question but I heard all old Pet Models are still available in Legion as Rares.

If so, does anyone know where to find an old model green Core Hound?

From what I know none of the corehounds have an old model anymore. All have been replaced with the new high res models. Only rare bears were able to keep their old models.

can anyone tell me does Varah still spawn ? i have tried forever to get this pig but its never up...so far 3 hours today nothing server just reset will that effect timer on it ?

Pretty sure Varah still spawns, tamed that on an alt a few months back while I was levelling. I'll take a look in a bit if it's up on my realm
