The Lone Hunter with his toy

Unread post by bcofido »

Hello,

First, a big thanks to Griffley, who inspired me (and many other hunters) to try this tame.

Finally after hours and hours of trying, here he is:
Image

My Immo Trap alone wasn´t able to kill the Wolf, so i put my weapon away and gave him one punch before using the immo trap.
Started the tame at the first tick (crit punch) or the second tick (non-crit punch), which was the winner.

Thank you so much for everything, i love this community but never had anything to post.

Greetings from Germany

Oh, fantastic! I'm guessing it stays forever? Since you kill-tamed him, that would seem logical. Good work! :D

Holy....yikes! Welcome and grats on the tame! Forgive me for not looking too closely; the mental image pains me. xD

The first name that came to mind was Gus. I'm sure no one else will know what I'm talking about, but there was an animated show called Mission Hill some years back and one of the characters was a man named Gus who had a knife stuck in his head for most of the series. x)

Someone call D.E.H.T.A. already!

Joking aside, nice job! Can't really say that it appeals to me, but maybe I'm getting a little stingy with my pet choices as my stable fills to the brim.

Oh, I'm curious. Is the sword shown as a buff on the pet? I can't recall from when I did that quest on my undead.

Yes, the sword is a buff like the oil on the other pets.
I think, Arena is bad for this pet too.

I just unequiped my Melee weapon for 1 punch.
I had to do this because the total damage of my Immolation Trap was not high enough in total
(In one try he had 33 hp left o.0)
So i first gave him a punch like i told in my first post.

Cute bug. XD

Though when I tamed him, he did NOT keep the dagger.

Any tips for someone who is actually going to tame him at Lone Wolf's level?

DUDE! GRATZ! Please help me do this next awesome tame! At the entrance to Western Plaguelands (from UC side) there are Fox Hunters with their pet Bullmastiffs, and randomly the Bullmastiff will catch a Brown Fox and hold it in his mouth for about 10 seconds.

If anyone can do it, YOU CAN!!!!!!
