I got the red and orange dragonhawk! Now, I already have a dragonhawk [the red one from the BC 5 man] and I didn't really like it. It was kinda flappy and looked weird next to my orc hunter. I set off to take the red/orange one from the BE area and see how it went.




I think he looks pretty nice. He matches MUCH better than the red/pink colored one. He provides the same buff as the wind serpent so he helps me out a lot in 5 mans. He also helps out a little in PvP but I find that I get distracted by his flappy wings when I'm trying to pay attention lol. I liked his swimming animation thought it was just his running animation slowed way down [though I'm guessing lots of pets do that]. He also still feels very BE oriented and doesn't match my orc too well. He's too... soft? He doesn't look tough enough to run with my orc, although that's not true. I also like that he actually has some feathers and isn't just a solid lizard like the wind serpent.

Anyway, if you've got a BE hunter that needs a pet this one is highly recommended! It's low level, easy to tame and they are all over the place in the BE starting area!

Well, I had thought hard on what a good name for a pet with multiple faces would be; a split personality, if you will. Decided against insensitive names like Schizo, and finally found something I liked.

Thespis is an ancient Greek that came up with the concept of telling a story through actors instead of a single narrator. Thus, I figured that my monkey was a very cunning actor, with four different costumes but the same monkey behind each one.
There's the clever maniac (dominant personality):
The demented creep (eyes and face look like a skull):
The lovable dimwit (couldn't stop scratching his ass):
And the...
...now look what you've done!

So, that went well

His true personality showed once we started to get some action. The manic monkey would give off hoots, that were both crazy and goofy at once, when he attacked. Then he would fling a small brown object at them (too fast for my laggy computer to capture an image of in-flight). The problem was, I wanted to skin some Knothide Leather and Cobra Scales to help out my druid. And nobody wants shitty leather armor. What can I say; I'll just have to ask my shaman friend to wash them for me.

When I began to gather motes of shadow for my leatherworking pattern, I came across the strangest place:

The place seemed to intrigue him, appealing to his rather strange personality.

So, a decision was made

Bad Manner may be special, but that doesn't mean it's useful. The cast time means that this doesn't function as a very good spell interrupt (unlike Scatter Shot), the duration is rather short (just a second longer than Web Wrap, which is an actual stun), and the CD seems rather excessive for such an underwhelming ability. I don't think it would hurt to improve upon one of these three things. I can imagine uses for it, but they are rather limited. The ability could be used in lieu of Scatter Shot to hold someone in place for a Freezing Trap, or in conjunction with Scatter Shot to lock out a healer in PvP (I wonder if DR would kick in, though). But, I wish I could test whether or not a monkey will attack an enemy affected by Bad Manner; since it's still functioning as a stun on live, I couldn't test this with Thespis and get useful results.

I'm afraid I forgot to do a 'swim test', to see what his swim animation is.

Ok so i got the spiked blue windserpent

Well, i headed out to netherstorm to tame one of these guys. Right off the bat i could not stand how they moved when in idle i just... bugged me xD I fugure ill just "ignore it" So i went on to twilight highlands to do a daily or 2 sicne i am not ones for duengons anymore xD I picked up a daily and noticed... even with having spent all his talent poins ( his nae is icicle) he just... couldnt keep his wits about. he lost health super fast and had some issues with aggro. i love his swim animation ( no pics of it though) so all in all this is how i stand on these guys

All in All= cool looking pet, not the best dps wise

Guys, try to keep in mind that these challenges aren't just for yourself, they're for the community.
Recently almost every pet I've been rolled has been a pet I've already had; I went out and tamed it again just for the report (or in the case of my Shango challenge, he had been recent enough that I did it off memory).

If you already have the pet, that's fantastic as you're better able to make a good report about it.
