They made Sian-Rotam a rare spawn like that because he's been glitched since the Shattering patch and currently doesn't show up at all. My best guess would be that they couldn't fix the glitch, so this is how they managed to bring him back in game.

Yes, I tamed my Frostfang (Frostsaber Huntress) also in advance, and can't wait for her to change to that gorgeous new appearance. When I saw her, I was smitten o.o

Does this mean that if you tame them before the change they will change in your stable? Or does it mean u will have an pet that is no longer obtainable = awesome!

The glitch must have started at Cataclysm launch since I helped a friend tame him during the Shattering (November 5th).

Did the change already happen? Looking at my cats they look like the saber mount. Maybe I'm just tripping lol.
Double checked and yeah the tiger white and aqua are but not my huntress. O.o
