So I was on the PTR and noticed that my Drake of the West Wind looks very different. I had mounted to see if they fixed the issue where you sit halfway in it's body instead of on the saddle (they did) but was shocked by how bright my mount now is. Here are a couple of screen shots of the mount on live and then on the PTR. Anyone else on the PTR with this mount seeing this as well? I wonder if it is intended.

Such...pastel...colors....

What on earth have you been feeding that drake?

Does he make a /mountspecial sound yet?

I don't like how bright it is if that's how there going to look.

Oh dear God, that drake looks like he lost a bet with Rainbow Brite. That'll make grinding out full TB dailies for 2 1/2 weeks worth it This just proves yet again that nothing beats out a good ole fashioned Proto-Drake.

Got to be a bug - look, his armor is still dark.

Maybe that's their fix for the lightning on the body being still. If you go back in history to MMO-Champion's original video of how the drakes looked, the lightning effect on their body was much like Skoll's effect, but we get solid electric stripes that looked horribly tacky.

IMO, this is a big improvement for a pretty much free mount. You get paid for 33~ days, and after that, bam; a shiny dragon. Kinda bummed it's still going to be a vomit green color, but brighter makes it looks less vomit-y.

Oh god I hope that's a bug (sometimes mounts really bug out on the PTR) cause I really hate how it looks all glowy in that second shot. I love the current TB drake, but eesh. It wouldn't be coming out of my spellbook if that's its intended look XD

blaaaarg it looks like someone blarfed (lol great vocabulary i have dont i rofl) all over it, im sorry but yea >.>;; Im just gonna stick to my fleshy blue drake or proto/stone drake if i can get one >.<

I thought the drake looked ugly as sin now....this is worse.

The drake model is nice-- till you get to the head where theres no horns or face spikes, the head is round and flat, and the armor is flat and while detailed, its.. its still unbearably flat.. like uncomfortable plate armor since its not segmented to allow flexing though where it is on him, it doesnt really need to flex, but its also doesnt have a lotta angles on it. They probably coulda put armor on it that kinda got somewhat graphical design in terms of skeleton from the protodrakes natural armor, they got really nice armor-like skin on their heads

Huh.. I never liked the look of the current live T'B drake, but if this is an intended change I'd consider getting this before the spectral wolf. I like the colours, k? xD

My concern is the Drake of the North Wind

I feel pretty mixed about it. I don't like how pastel it is but the glow is kind of neat on the wings. If they could combine the two looks and meet in the middle it may not be so bad. I hadn't noticed if they added a mount special but next time I am on I can check.

It could be worse I guess.

Its just a bug guys, they are fixing it. Mine actually looks normal in deepholm except for the fact there are now electric sparks on him ^.^ not as big as skolls but still pretty neat
