Oh my gosh, are you guys really arguing over stats and whats better for a gun in the ptr that hasnt even ben implemented yet. If you have nothing nice to say do NOT click submit, insulting people instead of explaining is just ignorant and proves you are no better then anyone else.

The gun is still a possible work on progress, theres still time for the stats to change or what not, but it use useful for those who just turned 85, others who are raiding and have their epic bows/crossbow its pretty useless to them which is what I meant for me.

So seriously guys, knock it off, its suppossed to be a friendly forum for hunters alike, those still learning the class or those with more knowledge. Or this will be locked, the forum moderators have enough to do instead of having to lock forums because people cant play nice.

So back on topic

As a dwarf, I'm just happy to see a raid-level gun at long last with DPS stats instead of tank stats. Guess I'm gonna have to start rolling on orbs again so I can build me one.

I would love to see a model change on this. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the super-soaker look, and it seems tediously simliar looking to the kickback. I totally agree it's a great look for dwarves and gobbos, but just not quite right for my pup or cow hunter. Variety is the spice of life, eh Blizz?

Oooh, sweet, I didn't notice the socket bonus. As Lyc said earlier, socketing the right gem would actually make this gun very useful, not only for people who just hit 85, but also those who've lucked out on Atra and Valiona drops and/or possibly are dwarves.

How neat. I was a little iffy about it but I might look at buying some AH mats to resell after the patch, maybe.
