My male dwarf hunter is so getting the hairstyle on the far left.

Man some of the new tauren female horns looks very strange.
I've just tested some of them, and they're really bad. Seriously hope they change them.

Anyone got a picture of the new horns? Can't get onto the PTR for a while. :(

Some of those almost look like recycled female Draenei horns. That and they look poorly blended with the model's head.

Np. I definitely don't like the way they look. Taurens need more hair styles not funky horn styles.

Tauren horns would look nicer if they had more than half a polygon and 5x5 pixels of texture to work with. Yikes.

I suspect they keep giving tauren new horns because it changes the silhouette more than the hair does. I do really really really wish they'd get new hair, though-- ESPECIALLY if the horns are going to be that kind of eye-searing, low-quality ugly.

The reason tauren get horns instead of hair is that the "hair" on tauren is fixed and immutable. What people are probably thinking of as the 'hair' part is on most races, the 'facial hair' sprite. Since the barber shop only affects the 'hair' sprite code block, it's always going to be horns for tauren. No one's gotten any new beards (which is kind of sad, but there you go.)

Here's to hoping that because it's still early in PTR they're still working on them and that the current bad blending is just a placeholder.

Fairly certain it was the female night elf /cheer animation that made me think that. Hairstyles aside.

Wow those horns look terrible. I mean, I like the general idea and shape of them, but they just seem... weird. I mean I know the model and texture of the old races are REALLY dated (oh god, update them already Blizzard); but they seem oddly as... more untextured than normal O_o

I think they're ungodly abnormal on them cause the backsweapt is from the draenei and the other ones are new. We're also seeing them in the black color which has always been one of the absolute worst colors for a tauren unless they have black fur to match. Ive found both genders horns when colored black to be absolutely atrocious if they dont have black fur (i find it horrible too that they keep going with the idea of having them stick upwards, like, wtf blizz? They look like retards and i cant bear to look at a tauren when they got the High hornstyle >.<)

The backswept ones have a chance. I'll need to see them for myself when 4.2 comes out.

i want to see more that come forwards, the males have some really awesome ones but the females have like, none but these tiny stubby little things -_-

I am so SICK of them being unblended. NOBODY else has this problem (afaik, but if they do, they need to scream too.)
