Patch coming out in june?

When is Patch 4.2?
According to the End of Arena Season 9 Announcement it looks like the patch will be deployed on June 21st, with the new season starting the week after.

the.. heck.. normally id be all like EEE sweet! but yah no.. no. Not when my main is dcing in lava countlessly.. heres hoping they fix the bugs before they implement 4.2 like they did 4.1. 4.1 was horrific when it first came out and was for weeks on end. So id rather it be in the ptr longer in order to fix everything then have them rush it only for us to fear the molten drop, the rocks that are there but somehow you still fall through, the dcing lava cave and other bugs..

So please blizzard fix the patch before you deploy it. I want my solix darn it.. my fearing the cave is much more then fearing the running of the spider.. thats not good.

I had an itch it might be on that date, instead of the predicted early July (Fire Festival and all that. And quite frankly, they've taken long enough with this already). I'm really looking forward to stepping into Firelands. Just hoping the servers will be stable enough to start tackling that place down from day 1.

Yep exactly ^.^ Comes out day after by birthday is fine with me as long as the molten drop is no longer and though I know we will have some issues just... hopefully not some hardcore issues that we dc every 10 secs or something like that.

I would bet they release it 6/21. Why do I feel that way you may ask??? Because 6/21 it's when my subscription ends. Yep. That's when it'll happen. I'll cancel and ...................... BOOM Firelands.

I'm really excited for the new content, but like you I hope they fix some of the current bugs first.

Namely the issue where Mac users have been experiencing incredibly high in-game latency since 4.1 hit. Raiding with 3k latency on both ends isn't fun. :[

That's exactly why they'll go live with it around June 21st or so. Blizzard seems to *love* implementing major patches during in-game holiday festivals, especially when the holiday has a special dungeon event and said patch causes the servers to be offline for an extended period of time lasting through prime time hours.
