oil wolf still tameable?-somone pls find out

i was wondering if this wolf was still obtainable with the buff without using the macro ty to whoever finds out

It is possible to tame without the macro but you need an ally on the Lupus Pupus quest to do it (either you as that ally doing the quest or someone else doing it for you). It will take quite some time as well probably, its very tricky and difficult

Hi Fangz, just wanted to pop in and say that, as of Sunday (5 June 2011), the macro still did work on the oil-covered wolf. I helped my BF get one. As stated in another thread here, it helps to summon and dismiss two of your own pets first, then tame the worg with the macro-mashing technique. It took him a couple of tries, since the macro has to link up with the in-game mechanics, but he did manage to get it on the third try. Before he logged out then back in, he confirmed he had the pet with the Revive Pet command, and got the error "Your pet isn't dead". Logged back in, and voilà! Hope this helps. Are any of the pets you could get with the abandon macro still able to be gotten? I panicked because people were saying GMs were banning people for having them and released all the ones I had (sword buff lone hunter etc).

All of the buff pets are still tamable ((Using the search feature on these boards should reveal like 5 other threads recently created on this topic)). You won't get banned for having them unless someone chooses to report you.
