Silithid Sand Reavers? As pets?
The infamous Silithid Sand Reaver (See here for more info: http://www.wowwiki.com/Sand_reaver) I beast Lored our friend Fankriss the Unyielding in AQ40 and he has a diet. What does this mean? The last Silithid I beast lored was "Buru the Gorger" before 4.0.3a came out and he had a diet too. Has blizzard finally heard our pleas and decided to fit the Sand Reaver into the Silithid family? Only time will tell... or the PTR in this case
“Marines I see as two breeds, Rottweilers or Dobermans, because Marines come in two varieties, big and mean, or skinny and mean. They're aggressive on the attack and tenacious on defense. They've got really short hair and they always go for the throat.”

I think I would be very tempted to tame Sarinexx, just love that colouring.
Re: Silithid Sand Reavers? As pets?
Well.. Sand Reavers are, if I recall properly, the only kind of silithids that are not tamable in any shape or form as of yet.
Giving them good chances!
Though I doubt that is for 4.3
I dunno, just skeptical -- it seems odd to suddenly add Sand Reavers.
Guess we'll have to wait.

They have had a deit for a quite some time now. I don't think they will be tamable.

This seems pretty unlikely, although this would be the coolest silithid tame ever. ;w;
I really hope these are tameable someday.

I love silithids and pets with low profiles, so a sand reaver would be awesome!

Yeah, I am intrested to see what happens. Sense all the sand reavers have diets all of a sudden.

They've had diets for awhile now About as long as the Boss ones have had. I would still love them to be tameable, though.

I'd want them to fix their walk/run animation before making them tamable because right now, it don't work/look very good

Re: Silithid Sand Reavers? As pets?
Well I checked Sarinexx and Kurinnaxx. They BOTH have Diets concluding even more that Blizzard is hinting at something. I have checked the Stags; No Diet, etc. I honestly doubt blizzard would say "Here have a diet, let's tease the hunters shall we?" they do everything for a reason. I am intrested to see what unfolds with the next patch.

Re: Silithid Sand Reavers? As pets?
Please do note my comment above: the Sand Reaver models have had diets since Boss Silithids did. That doesn't mean they WON'T become tameable, but it doesn't mean there's suddenly a new hint that they might be.
Re: Silithid Sand Reavers? As pets?
The diets were added for theme. Much as low model snakes had diets added as well.
I'm sure Noah won't mind me confirming that they have been in consideration as tameables for quite some time. So hopefully one day we'll see them. I'm not sure when though.
Personally I'd like to see them as their own tiny family with an enemy teleport / DK death grip kind of special. It's something they are known for in the game and it's a kind of class power that hasn't been given to any pet family yet.
Oh and I'd choose the purple one. Definitely
