I remember in the Cataclysm Beta we didn't get a lot of tames until waaay late (Gezzarak, purple crocolisk, etc). So don't give up hope, it's only the first build.

It is still early in the PTR builds. C'mon blizz....I saw the purple hydra at the beginning of Cata, and it made me sad I couldnt tame him.
