Half and half. I think that some of the early dialogue additions strengthened the visuals (which would have reduced the need for the intertitles), but the later dialogue was just distracting, rather than building up the visuals.

The early dialogue additions strengthened the visuals, definitely agreed, I loved (0.00-0:55), and later from "I...Am... DEATHWING!" (1.35 onwards) I really enjoyed also. The middle was a little to much for me.
Deathwings ranting critical strikes you for 10000000, 8558243 over kill!
