•Only uncommon (green), rare (blue) or epic (purple) items may be transmogrified. (exceptions: a select few of these items will prevented from being used to transmogrify if they are inappropriate)
•Items must share the same armor type (examples: plate for plate, cloth for cloth)
•Weapons must be the same weapon type (exceptions: Guns, Crossbows, or Bows)
•Guns, Crossbows, and Bows can be used to transmogrify Guns, Crossbows, or Bows.
•Main hand weapons can only be used to transmogrify Main hand weapons.
•Off-hand weapons can only be used to transmogrify Off-hand weapons.
•One handed weapons can be used to transmogrify a Main hand or Off-hand weapon.
•Using an item for transmogrify makes it soulbound.
•Using an item for transmogrify makes it non-refundable.
•Using an item for transmogrify makes it non-tradable.
•Heirlooms and Account Bound items can be transmogrified.

•Mailing an item strips its transmogrification.
•Placing an item in Void Storage strips its transmogrification.

•The displayed enchant will be that of the currently equipped item.
•There may be individual items that are excluded from being transmogrified on the basis that they were originally added to the game as absurdities. (examples: a weapon that looks like a fish, or a chest piece that is invisible)

Fair enough except the legendary thing. If you own it, you should be able to transmorgify it.....or atleast pay like 100g to upgrade the stats to current level or something.

"or a chest piece that is invisible."

Well that kills any interest in this that I had...

Hehe. But good, I can use my heirlooms to transform my lock. I'm thinking my dreadmist set and a nice dragon-spike helm for her.

Bit of a pity I can't join the hordes of people grabbing for Thori'dal now, because it matches my PvP gear's colors almost exactly.

It'll have to do for RP, I suppose, and I'll definitely keep it around for BWL runs. I relearned that fight the hard way.

Kindof sad about the legendary thing, I don't see whats wrong with putting that skin on their weapon...they earned the item. :/

I agree that its odd that legendaries wont be allowed either. If you worked hard for it.. I dont see why not. The legendaries arent something thats easy to get.

The "no invisible chestpiece" is a bummer. I mean, if I made a Worgen male char, I'd most likely want to have him raid as a bare-chested fury furry warrior - perfect berserker.

They're probably doing it because of females.

WoW's all female models have lingerie in textures - so an invisible chestpiece would make them go in bra.

Yes, everyone would want to be able to transmog their bras if they allowed this. :)

Edit: I want mine to be leopard print!

Sucks legendaries won't be allowed to use for their skins... However I kinda understand them in a way. The Twin Blades for example, wouldn't be able to match any other weapon in game to be used as a skin. I do not know of any swords that have a similar crescent model like them. The other legendaries however, could have been used, just have the Twin Blades excluded from the list, ya know?

I demand some underwire for my night elf and for it to be silky green! Tired of her boobs bouncing like no tomorrow!

The twin blades/warglaives, I believe, are considered fist weapons. So you can transmorg a fist weapon into a fist weapon. The whole point of transmorg is to get the LOOK you want so long as the weapon type is the same(excluding ranged weapons). They have a main hand and off hand and easily could also be claimed as swords too.

But to turn swords into fist weapons is a bit... Absurd, if ya know what I mean. I mean... They are swords, not fist weapons so how would that work? o.0;;

It's what they are allowing anyway I believe.

Considering a sword is a blade with a handle, it's pretty close to a fist weapon.

wait... wait.... so I CANT have an enh troll shammy named "lunchlady" who can duel wield frying pans? D:
/sadface

all in all i cant complain, seems fair to me. (Although I think the legendary rule is kinda meh) I still wish you could dye your armor though. There are lots of designs that would go great together but the color scheme makes you look like someone threw up play dough all over your gear.
I just wish I could find a dragon helm to match the awesome dragon shoulders the curator dropped v.v

Wishes aside I must say this seems reasonable enough to me and I should say thank you blizz =) I cant wait.
