Adding the swift/PvP riding raptor model since a couple are now tameable in MoP. Now we can keep an eye out for the rest. Dibs on the white one! :)

Maybe this can be how that wicked horde pvp mount model will become tameable since there isn't a skin without the armor available yet.

You know, I actually saw someone use a trinket or some other item that summoned a big ol' yak to their side yesterday. I have no idea what it is, but it's definitely not a hunter pet (most unfortunately).

Still, that's a good catch! I only saw this happen yesterday. :)

Hrm, I know Monks have an ability that summons a charging "ox" which brings a yak out as a cooldown:

Oh there's also quest item from Townlong Steppes and seems to work outside it too:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5CjSGVp6Dg I found it in my bags, but it's not a very friendly yak, still made me chuckle.

Np, anytime. Nothing else in that zone seems to have changes taming wise but I'm going to keep looking around for anything else they snuck in

EDIT: Pics of the tamed ones

So are all the tamable turtles the less dramatic looking ones? In your pic Rawr, the mount is definitely the spiky version, but the pet looks like it's not. Does anyone know if there are spiky ones in the wild?

As far as I know they're all the non-spiked model. Essentially, the fancy model came first and all turtles used it. Then they created the less-fancy model and swapped it in under the old model name, so all turtles instantly switched to it. They'd have to manually set them to the fancy model but I haven't seen one yet :( Maybe they'll save them all for rares.

What a shame, I certainly enjoy the spikier versions more. I do hope they're implemented eventually, it'd be a waste to have the models without saddles, and not use them as mobs.

Yeah, I'm really upset by the decision to use the smooth-shelled, finless models. If that's all we get then I'll certainly tame one, but the ones with spiky shells and fin details really impressed me and I'll be sad to see them used for the mounts only.

Might I request you include rams wih your goats and yaks? I could be wrong, but I have a strong feeling they can easily be included as goats kinda like worgs being a variant of wolf.
