Funny, in all the excitement, some of the new rares got left of this list: Hexapos, Portent and Rockhide :)

Wilderland Does now accompany the Wilderland Stags, and they use the dark brown Panda stag model, complete with antlers! It's a shame they didn't add a way to turn the antlers off on that model or it'd be much better for does and calves.

Although I can understand for the calves, having no antlers, but there are a number of deer species where females also have antlers.

I didn't know that. Cool :)

It is a bit weird for calves though. And the ones in JF at least have enormous antlers.

Gives the does some leverage in arguments with their stags. *nod*

Just adding this note here because I can't check right now and I know I'll forget later - Wild Shaghorn on the list says it "comes in four colours" but only two pictures are given. I suspect it only comes in two colours now and the text wasn't deleted, but better check.

No problem! :D

I forget which build that happened in, but it was a fairly chaotic one.

I was in beta the other day and saw an alliance hunter with a cat pet that looked extremely like Xuen, the temple NPC. I did a search here and wow head.com and found no mention of him being able to be tamed. Any ideas?

My suspicion is that we'll get that celestial tiger some time in the future, but I have no official word on that. I'd be very surprised if it's the near future, though, since it's now an iconic monk pet and monks are brand new. Maybe in the next expansion. But they may surprise me and add it sooner, who knows? :) At least there are precedents, like Karoma is the same as the shaman wolves.

This is exactly what stopped me from thinking that they wouldn't add it in as a tameable hunter pet just because it's a monk pet already. It's too cool of a model not to use!

I have the same feeling for void terrors, but nope...we got the floating butthole on warlocks instead. -weep-

Hey now, some of us love our warlocks' floating buttholes!

....there is no way to make that sentence sound any better. :D

The good part about no one having void terrors yet is that there's still hope for hunters, though really, there aren't many super awesome demons to enslave anymore....though since locks can't keep them, that may ultimately be a deciding factor. We can only hope/speculate. :)

I don't have a warlock, but I always like that beholder model too. Ah well, not for everyone I guess.

I wonder if one reason they chose it is that it seems (I think) to be a higher res, BC model, while the void terror is older and less smooth.

But, anyway, I've kept an eye on void terrors on the beta, as I'm sure others have been doing as well. But I'm guessing there's not much chance of seeing them this expansion at this late stage :(
