Hate to burst everyone's bubble but this bug is in live too
after panda patch came out when a hunter uses camo with a colossus it spam hisses the same way almost pointing out where the hunter is. they do this in water as well with or without camo. i hated the hissing i preferred the strong silent with the random thuds every now and then

This is a large reason I don't have silithids or beetles, for the most part. I have a few, but the 'thud' constantly irks me. Even the teeny Sand Scarab does it!
Yuh. If it didn't do it so often and so loud, I probably wouldn't have cared.

dang. =/ i may just abandon mine to make room for a more important pet then. I use mine for pvp and the hissin in cammo sucks.

Actually, the hissing during camo is good. If it actually interferes with gameplay, the issue will probably be moved farther up the list than when it was only during water or walking backwards (which aren't found that often in PvP environments) Can everyone submit tickets to help us get this fixed?

If you want to mute these sounds, create a blank .ogg and .wav sound file. They must be at least 0.1 second long.
Rename them to:
SilithidWaspBossAggro
SilithidWaspBossAttackA
SilithidWaspBossAttackB
SilithidWaspBossAttackC
Then go to your WoW folder and create this tree path:
Sound\\Creature\\SilthidWaspBoss
Move all the renamed sound files into that and restart WoW.
