Orange Siberian Tigers?

Okay so... I'll give you that they do seem to have different skin IDs.

But if this:

... are in any way different, I'm totally stumped as to how. Yes, the latter one occurs only on one mob but I opened the two in windows next to each other and they look -identical- to me. Couldn't we list the 'rogue' version with the other, for the sake of tidiness and the fact that there appears to be no difference?

There's a very clear difference in their eyes. The white parts on both of them are pretty different as well. The top one is more clear than the bottom one.

They look the same in the screenshot though, and that's really all I have to go on. And both their eyes look yellow to me?

The orange pops more on the second pic.

The bottom one is more blurry and a brighter orange color. Its eyes are also a lot more blurred compared to the top one.

Imo, it's the same case as these two dragonhawks:


The one on the left is sharper, more detailed, and more clear. The one on the right more blurred, little bit brighter colors.

Same situation with these tigers. The top one is more sharp and clear, the bottom more bright and blurred.

It's mainly the eyes and nose, which isn't as obvious at the angle shown there. It does seem odd to make two different skins when they're so similar, but it's worth having both noted I think.

Yeah, at the angle on the petopia page, I swear to god they look identical. I think the one on the left (pink nose) is somewhat more true to life (which may be why it's on more mobs) but... I dunno, maybe the rogue one was a 'test skin' that just happened to hang out on one type of mob when the updated one got pasted to the others. WHO KNOWS.

No worries, it really is a ridiculously minor detail, but I think it's nice to list them separately just for those people who might prefer one nose to the other and want to be sure which mob is the unique one.

That, and you would have to make sure if you have the one with the pink nose, not to expose him/her to too much sun, they have a susceptibility to sun burn you know

I'm also seeing the pink-nosed one to be a brighter color, as mentioned by others, but I've always been keen on particular details. When we were putting up my brother's door to his room, I was able to spot the door being 1/16th of an inch lower on the right side than the left, which, as miniscule as it was, still stood out rather obvious to me, and not so much to my parents who had to measure to believe me.

The pink-nose one is darker then the black-nose one to me. The pink-nose looks like it was toned down and thus became darker and more orangy and grey while the black-nose one was given the opposite treatment.

This is more common than you might think. There are also two near-identical skins of orange hyenas, orange windserpents and blue nether rays.

The nose is the most obvious difference. That's the first thing I always looked at when looking at new tigers. As far as I can tell only the one has the black nose, the Zouchin Tiger, on the strand north of KLS.

Different video settings, monitors and video drivers really can make a huge difference as to whether two things look the same or not. I know there are things I create and model in WMV in Windows that look very different, but then look almost the same when I later look at the shots on Mac or on my work computer.
