Personally, on the void chicken, I'd remove the two two head fluff spikes and then leave the rest as is. Just leave the bottom 3 head fluffies. That will give it more of the droopy tattered look that the actual mount has.

I... never replied. I am so sorry. Thanks for the suggestion Bowno! In the end I kept it as a recolour as it seemed too much work for something that was otherwise very alike. Plus the model I linked only had an armoured version with the helm texture removed which is possibly why it looked the way it did.
No one asked for them (actually a few people did but shush) but we get stuck with them anyway. Murlocs!

Been a while since I did any kind of art. Either I lacked the drive or nothing ever came out of it. Then recently I got bitten by the bug and what should have been a de-rusting session instead turned into a day-long project. I'm happy considering it's been a few months since I finished anything.
