TCG Pet Cards advice?

Hi everyone, not sure if this is where I should post this question, but here goes. I have some tcg card doubles of pets. The price of these on ebay is really low so I don't think it's worth the hassel of all the fees involved in selling them so I was wondering if I kept them until mysts would I be able to put them on my char even if he has them already and then put them in a pet cage and sell them at the ah? Ty for any advice

Funny, I was thinking of doing the same thing come Mists, but hadn't gone on Beta to see what I could do, and hadn't bothered to look up info about it. I was hoping I could do it hehe. I would be annoyingly tempted to sell off some of my more pricy pets from my alts if it didn't affect my main though...

If you can, throw a link? I've been collecting a few BoP pet options in the hopes that instead of just discarding them, they'll become pet-cageable, so having the confirmation would be good. Plus, I remember seeing an image of 'Caged Nuts'.

Yes, when pet cages were first introduced on beta, all pets could be caged. Let me see if I can track down the blue quote...oh, here it is:

This, though, is for *releasing* pets, no? Not for *caging* them.

We have added restrictions on releasing pets in the latest build. The only pets you can release are ones that you have caught though the pet battle system.

Oh, you're right. Hopefully we will be able to buy/sell other pets.

We should make some sort of TCG Pet Trading Thread or something. I have some Landro's XTs and Lichlings that I'd love to trade for the scarab and Bloat.
