jade tiger companion?

i was just catching pets in nagrand when i encountered a jade tiger. when i lowered it health and tried to catch it would not let me .
Maybe Blizz is thinking of bringing it back? Sorry didn't think of taking a screen shot.

I've noticed a few deals like this before. I was told it picked up a local persons companion and that is how it got in.

I do wish I could have the Jade tiger but kind of stuck there!
