A couple of new JC recipes this next build (15913): Jade Owl and Sapphire Cub. In the past these have usually been trinkets with on-use combat pets. However, the items crafted teach you the spell and the fact it's a cub and not a tiger suggests it'll be a companion pet and not a regular JC trinket. I for one would love to see the sapphire cub, especially. The blue gem tiger skin hasn't been used in the game yet and it's one of my favourite colours.

Also listed in the build notes: the pet Baneling and Pandaren Water Spirit.

Also, it looks like fuel for the old Warbot pets may now be made via Cooking!!

You mean I can actually use the stuff in my bags that I didn't want to use because it'd be gone forever?

Baneling? Bet that's the Heart of the swarm pet.

...I thought I was the only one who did that with the battle fuel, rofl.

This is awesome news. I can finally use my battlebots on a toon other than the ones I originally got the fuel on. :3

Ughhh....I want the little baneling so badly.

But I have no real need for a SC collector's edition. I don't even play the game. I love watching my boyfriend play it and I'm familiar with the lore and the characters, I'm just terrible at RTS games.

It would be a colossal waste of money to attach a CE to my account, but I want that baneling SO BADLY. I just love the Zerg, and I'm sad I never got the old Zergling with the Vanilla CE.

That is so cute! It's a little explosive roly-poly. I'll have to get the CE after all...

I thought it never really looked like a Zergling, more like a baby felhunter.

But yeah, the same here. I don't play SC either and I still want this pet SO BADLY.

Maybe there'll be a digital CE which costs less but I doubt even then that I could just buy it for a pet.

Eee, the Baneling is adorable! It's like they designed it to get me to buy the CE.

I wonder if it will react to the SC2 CE pet Mini Thor. Like if it will attack it. I seem to recall the Zergling doing that to the Murloc marine.
