But since here it is again, I am almost certain Spawn of Horridon will be the stone skin.
Maybe if we're lucky some normal-skinned dire horn mounts will be easier to obtain.

Could these be the compies? Makes more sense than a primal raptor, since primal usually means going earlier, not more advanced, which this would be.

It's speculation and if you compare them side by side, including the fangs on the elves teeth, it's not that hard to see some sort of relation. There's nothing saying they did come from it but Blizz never said they didn't either.

Actually, they did. I'm sure I can't find the blue statement since it was a while ago but they did say that the two races were unrelated and the Night Elves were the oldest.

I am actually very sure that those 'Primal Raptors' are those devilsaur skins we saw added to raptor mounts. Why? Because every single one matches the skins added.

Bone-White? The white one.
Red? The orange (like the Savage) one.
Black? The black one.
Green? The green (aka Krush) one.

According to Wowpedia, Night elves are a 'sub-species' of dark trolls that discovered, studied and revered the Well of Eternity, while also being shaped and changed by the power it granted them. Thus, the Night Elves are actually a 'creation' of the Titans as well, since they placed the Well on Azeroth.

There's no 100% rock-solid confirmation one way or the other. Blizzard has--quite intentionally I believe--been vague on the subject of trolls and elves.

Anywho, shiny mounts! I think I'd be happy to see any of the raptors drop, especially since I think they're the devilsaur-skinned raptor mounts (name matching and all). Some of the dire horns too, though the green stone one would be solely to chase a guildie around with. 8D 'EYESEAR DINOSAUR WANTS A HUG!'
