Amani Longbow will already return in 5.2 though, as a green (uncommon) weapon for transmog. Presumably from a vendor.

Actually, it probably means they can craft the old BS epics that were lost when the specializations were taken away. Stormbringer and such.

Engineering might get something too, as there are some new parts available.

I would love it if they would bring back old bs items like enchanted thorium breastplate (pants are also gone but can be found as a quest reward in blades edge)

It's not the first time blizzard has done things like this. xD It's hard to find groups for 85 content, and most classes cannot solo them yet.

Though I know you're referring to others.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure the Lightning Forge is just for the old Blacksmithing Weaponsmith weapons that disappeared. The Lion Sword, etc.
