As a professional artist who posts sketches and 'while in progress' images (per request) I feel a little insulted. Nah, just kidding! On a more serious note, where-ether showing unfinished things is a bad idea or not is case sensitive.cowmuflage wrote:As a professional artist myself I know it's really quite a high number.Kalliope wrote:There are some who stream their works-in-progress online, so I'd wager this number is higher than you think.Zhinru wrote:Tell me, how many artists do you see sharing an unfinished sketch of their work?

Definitely a high number so really....I'd say majority of artists do. I follow a lot of artists on DA and there's always a lot of WIP posts. Heck, you can youtube it. Many will post the artwork being drawn from start to finish or however far they get. People adore sneak peaks at stuff that's not finished. My brother, when he worked for Disney World, would show me all sorts of unfinished stuff and it was awesome.
