Unless something goes wrong, Patch 5.2 will go live this week! Keep checking back, as we will be updating and adding to this post throughout the day and covering some of the smaller changes tomorrow.

Yeah, that probably means I'm gonna post a lot less very soon. I mainly came on to find out as much as I can about 5.2, and with it going live there will probably be just Ra-Den to read about. Unless they drop 5.3 PTR very soon, like they did with 5.2 just after 5.1's release.

maintenance extended to 1p pst

Weird, they did everything different this time. I expected a huge patch to be downloaded, but it seems I already had everything. It was just a matter of installing it.

Yeah, it was only about 120 Mb for me do actually download. I expected more as well, but I'm not complaining. I also am really not surprised by the extended maintenance; it's patch day after all. Not to worry though, our new pets are there waiting for us when the servers DO come back up

Well I've noticed more of little mini downloads going off/on for awhile now, it seems like they've finally figured out no-one likes downloading it all at once. So its nice when the patch day does come because there's only the last little bit to download which takes no time at all (for me).

Such a good time to have maintenance! <---- sarcasm by the way.

well, they could skip maintenance and then shut down servers while everyone's exploring new content if that works better for you.

They could of you know did maintenance and then the patch the day after. XD

Except the maintenance is time dedicated to getting the patch going, so you'd rather have two days of downtime....?

No worries! It's just the idea that there's going to be downtime no matter what, so we might as well kick back and start betting on what time the servers will ACTUALLY come up. (And/or find other ways of passing the time. )

My bet is on 3pm

We are always like the last servers to be up so I dunno later then what you guys say XD

Excellent work on Blizzard's part; I would have lost this bet.

This has made me do work. XD I want my server back so I can be lazy again!
