So it's really a flying chameleon. I'll take it, though I wish it looked a little bit more like the Sprite Darter but bigger.
A fun place to chat about hunter pets in the World of Warcraft.

If thats true how exactly does that work again? I missed out last time.. I'm not sure how much it costs either..Suicune wrote:Saw a lot of people suggesting it will be the 'new' Tyrael's Charger- the new Annual Pass gift. Apparently it was said the terms were updated or something for April... haven't checked for myself, but was a post I read. If so, awesome. Gifts for doing what I already do- can't beat that!
Yup that's it!TygerDarkstorm wrote:Basically you just sign a contract saying you commit to paying for your WoW account for a year and they give you free stuff for making the commitment. But you have to pay for the full year to keep the goodies.
Edit: You don't pay the full year at once, you keep making the same monthly payments as normal.
Oh thank goodness. I could totally do that if that were the case. I thought you had to throw it all down at once which is not in my budget at the moment. Thank you for the clarification.TygerDarkstorm wrote:Basically you just sign a contract saying you commit to paying for your WoW account for a year and they give you free stuff for making the commitment. Well they do have Hearthstone coming out. Maybe you'd get some special cards or something with that.Meggers wrote:Last time D3 was included, so they'd have to do something similar.
And beta access to MoP; currently there's no expansion for them to be testing.Meggers wrote:Last time D3 was included, so they'd have to do something similar.
I forgot about those things XD I knew there was more then just the mount.TygerDarkstorm wrote:And beta access to MoP; currently there's no expansion for them to be testing.Meggers wrote:Last time D3 was included, so they'd have to do something similar.
No expansion, but there is Hearthstone on the horizon...TygerDarkstorm wrote:And beta access to MoP; currently there's no expansion for them to be testing.Meggers wrote:Last time D3 was included, so they'd have to do something similar.
It is but that doesnt mean they couldnt add some super awesome thing that you'd get. :3Quivering wrote:i thought Heartstone was free to play with some micro transactions?
Cool I had a feeling it would. They copied the new model files into the original faerie dragon folder. That had to be a mistake. Even if they wanted to use the new model elsewhere in the game, I had trouble believing they'd just erase the old model entirely.Yoruko wrote:The sprite darter pet has reverted back to it's original form with the small patch we got earlier:
Free-to-play generally means you pay for the actual game once and then that's it. Basically means there won't be a subscription.Quivering wrote:i thought Heartstone was free to play with some micro transactions?
That's actually Buy-To-Play when you pay for the game and then don't pay a subscription (ie GW2). Free-to-Play means just that; it's free to play/download the game to play it and the things you pay for are micro transactions (which buy-to-play games have as well).Snowy wrote:Free-to-play generally means you pay for the actual game once and then that's it. Yup people get that mixed up hell game companies do too! Prime example is well GW2! A lot of the asain mmo's are F2P and get all their income from micro transactions. It's a very risky thing to do I think GW2 manages to do it well because it's a big name etcTygerDarkstorm wrote:That's actually Buy-To-Play when you pay for the game and then don't pay a subscription (ie GW2).
