I think either of the two will be flagged hostile for both factions soon, because they seem to be hanging out with Kor'Kron, who are also hostile.

Don't take my word on it though. I don't know what to expect, and this patch has me very confused about what we might get in the pet department -- if anything at all -- or at least, anything new.

I have to agree with Qraljar, only a few NPCs in that area were friendly and they are more or less worg riders (even though they were all in the same "faction" even wearing the same armor).

Updated the first post, as Portent no longer phases out in the new area.

Sweet, no more stupid phasing in that area means my Horde Hunters will have a much easier time finding him

Last I heard though the goblins there don't attack Alliance. I guess they're too busy finding whatever artifact Garrosh wants and have no time for us?

Oh, and to avoid any confusion, Portent still phases out in the old spot, as far as I know. I had a script written up for how little of his path would be visible to players who haven't quested in the Vale, but then the new build came and invalidated it. ;)

So i asked a question and got an answer and its pretty vague so there might be some plans for 5.3!

That kind of sounds like leaning toward a "no," but considering that we WERE given an outright "no" on stable slots, then got them, anything is possible. :) I'd say that based on this conversation, though, the inclination at the moment is a "no."

i think its kinda in between the general tone of the message leans to no....but that smily face at the end kinda confuses you because there might actually be a good chance we could at least see some new rares in 5.3! only time will tell!

It sounds to me more like he doesn't know and is therefore reverting to evasive humour :)

I don't know if he's even much involved in putting rare beasts into the game (except for special encounters). He may be but I dunno.

Best strategy, considering the stable slot thing. ;)

Thanks to Worgénator from the PTR and Wain for bringing the news to Petopia, we are now aware that there are some baby direhorns available in the current PTR build!

the baby direhorns are cute but theres no way we are keeping them unless maybe.. they scale down the size quite a bit.

Indeed, it is HIGHLY unlikely that we'll get to keep them. Until that is official, though, they'll be covered here. :)
