the kite was such a dissapointment for 150 mounts..and i already have 3 dragonhawks >.> amani, sunreaver and 100 cheive...i think it should be a cloud serpent or something, or even that faire dragon would be good! But a dragonhawk? blergh!

I mean...Collecting 200 mounts is no easy feat. One would think someone who has must looooove collecting mounts, and would loooove having one that is new and unique. We constantly see all these great mounts coming out that are raid achievements, rare raid boss drops, very rare world rare drops, etc. I love Dragonhawks, but this will be what, the 4th as a mount? Blizz will really have to impress me with this reskin(which I do understand is most mounts anyway) for me to be excited about this. I mean...How hard is it to put a more lanterns, or some rag dolls hanging off of the 150 Green Kite String....or maybe it gets randomly hit by lightning like the kite pets do?

What annoys me most is that the kite model was already in game, and I assume they picked it as it required basically zero effort on their end (you see all of the different colour mount kites on one of the Tillers dailies). Sure it's a nice colour, but I see a kite every time I use a FP in Pandaria...

If this ends up being the 100 mount reward with the sunreaver DH armor plonked onto it (with just a slight recolour for Alliance), I will be so unimpressed.

Collecting 200 mounts requires a huge amount of effort and time, and if they can't give us a reward that meets up to that feat, I'd rather they hadn't added one at all - same for the 500 pet achv I'm sure they'll add at some point.

But we shall see - It could well be a placeholder for all we know.

Edit: That Firehawk? things pretty cool. I certainly wouldnt say no to a c mode Pandaria phoenix recolour with some particle effects + al'ar-esque type trail behind it - would at least fit in this expansion better than another dragonhawk.

Hmm... I though that the pearly-white serpent that was dataminde during 5.2PTR was going to go to achiv... oh well.
I'm not really a fan of dragonawks, so it's a /meh for me - unless they'd make it look really cool, which I doubt.

Besides dragonhawks are sooo belvish What would I say to my fellow-dwarves if they caught me riding something like that?

This. I'm not getting my hopes up or anything, but we could see something amazing. I'm just glad it's not another kite. I don't even have 150 mounts yet and I hate that thing. -___-
