Are these new crossbow models?

I was looking threw the model viewer, with the PTR loaded, to see if any new weapon models were out and i run into these crossbow that i didn't recognize. Just was wondering if they were new or did i miss them?

That's not a new crossbow. That's just what the Zandalari use to flip pizzas in a brick oven.

I think that is one of the many faction-designed weapon like the Worgen's Runeblade, The Ironforge Bow etc. It seems to be a Bilgewater-inspired Crossbow.

But yes, they are new to me. I have seen most of the unused models (From Prior Expansions) and this is not one of them. It does have a Mecha look to it with the large gear/cog on top.

It would be nifty if there was something else engineers could make to help pay the bills.

Sorry to all my bow slinging dwarf brethren, but for me bows and dwarfs are just an ...odd combination. I mean a worgen/dranaei/human/nightelf bow, for sure, but dwarf? (However I can't deny they have done a nice job on this bow design)

Though I would feel the same way about a Nightelf themed gun too.

*introduces SB to Dragon Age* My perspective on WoW dwarves and bows has forever changed due to that. When I created my WoW equivalent of that char, it felt weird for her to have a gun!

Though I would feel the same way about a Nightelf themed gun too.

I agree when it comes to Bronzebeards and Dark Irons, but I think a bow would be very natural for a Wildhammer.

Though I would feel the same way about a Night Elf themed gun too.

Very true, I don’t explore other games very much, if at all.

Definitely. They've gone feral If there were ever dwarf druids they'd have to come from the Wildhammer too.

I've never been willing to wear a gun on my original hunter (haven't played her for years though... I miss her If the character per server limit is ever lifted, I'll find a way to get the money to transfer her to my new server). Like, I even passed up a ~40 ilvl upgrade gun back in wrath or cata because I refused to wear a gun on her.

As for dwarves, I've always saw Wildhammer as Bows, Dark Iron as Crossbows (not as much technology available to them in zee mountain), and guns for the Bronzebeard.

The worgen runeblade - I want! Love the roses on it, would fit perfectly with the previous tier DK gear.
