Decided my precious ghost wolf needs a new name, at the moment it's called twilight (No not after the movie i named it before that!)
but with the whole movie hype i decided it needed it's own unique name, preferably something with meaning to it, names in other languages are welcome to:>

I'm stumped on a new name atm hope you can help!

Personally I'd name him either: Lupin, Moony, or Padfoot... but then again, I'm a big Harry Potter fan... :D

Ghost wolf, huh? Let's see...

Barghest is a type of hellhound.
Garmr is a hellhound associated with Ragnarok
along that line, Fimbulvetr is JUST before Ragnarok and is basically 3 winters with no summer and it's nasty. But sounds pretty.

More silly, Zero is the ghost-dog from Nightmare Before Christmas :)

I try to name my pets after WoW lore.

I named my ghost wolf "Xaxas"
Which in darnassian means Chaos, Fury, Catastrophe, Elemental Rage and all those nice things and is also used to refer to Deathwing.

Hah, you should see me naming pets. I can be incredibly picky, so don't feel bad about that. xD

I had suggested this name before to an individual looking to name their Ghost Saber on the old forums. The same name might also work for your Ghost Wolf.

Alastor or Alastora: it means "avenging spirit".

There are also the names:

Cheveyo: a Native American Hopi name meaning "spirit warrior".
Avira: an Aramaic name meaning "air, atmosphere, spirit".

When i just tamed my ghost wolf i named it Fenrir, but the fact that every second hunter on my server had a wolf named Fenrir made me want to rename him.
Now my beloved companion is called Faith - a touching name for a ghost pet from my opinion^_^
