Numaroc...

Finally dragged my hunter 68 and managed to start on Northrend.. so things are going swimmingly now! Currently 71 and grabbed Numaroc (I guess I was either very lucky finding him first time I went there.. or because no one's farming him now and the zone is disserted!).
However... what do you call a Chimaera?
There was only one in myth, a female, and it's only name was Chimera...
I almost went for Swoop (Transformers) - Looks like it's armour plated, and has 2 heads! (robot mode, and vehicle mode!)... but really not sure its appropriate...
Any ideas?

This was a tough one. I started scrolling through some mythical creature lists and pulled up the following:
Alphyn: A lion-ish creature that sometimes has goat or dragon forelegs.
Drac: A lion or bull-faced dragon
There are tons of others if you're interested in looking further:

It's a big list though, be warned.

Hmm. Could always go for JekyllHyde.
But for a serious name... Sickle, DualGore, Tempest sounds good too (sorry Veph!).

I had numaroc myself for a while, named her Starscream, after the decepticon second in command. A nice name for a creature native to Netherstorm I think.

How about Manticore?
Or a variation or it?
Mantikora?

Numaroc reminds of the aliens in the "Alien" movies. Unfortunately those don't have names. But I'd name him in honour of the heroine: Ripley.
