I didn't really want to make another topic, but I figured it would get more attention to names here than just loads of heartfelt congratulations!

So I've tamed King Mosh, and for the first time with a Devilsaur, I'm stumped for a name. Like I said on the topic, I'm feeling something Metal (the genre of music, not minerals, as my friend mixed up the two >.<) Possibly 80's, also a fan of new unsigned bands with cool names I've never heard of. so throw anything at me, band names, songs, feeling you associate with rock (positive, I hope!)

I also like the play on words thing, like Krush=Crush, Mosh=Moche...but I scoured the Name That Pet forums and found nothing that clicked. =s Many thanks in advance! x

Just a few days ago Ronnie James Dio passed away.

I think Dio would be a fantastic name for a Devilsaur, and a nice memento to one of the most prominent heavy metal vocalists of all time.

I wept when I found out, then sang Holy Diver for the entirety of the next day. =(

It's lovely, but because of my Italian heritage, Dio means God to me and..well, my dino's not very godly! More like...hemi-demi-semi godly. xD

Aw, okies. x) Hmm, well as for 80s metal bands, perhaps some of these names might work:

Sabbath
Dokken
Judas
Megadeth (it has the slight misspelling in it that suits Devilsaur naming schemes)
Crue/Crüe (Motley Crüe)
Skid (from Skid Row)
Ozzy

D'awwwww, Skid sounds awesome, I love singing along to Youth Gone Wild when I'm playing Brütal Legend xD Definately a contender, thanks sweetie. =)

Hehe, it does seem rather fitting for a Devilsaur for some reason. ^^

That's all I can think of for now...

My devilsaurs are usually called Stomper or Roar, but I had one named Boar a while too.

Okay, here are a few I'm pretty torn with:

Möttley
Saxon
Skid
Styx (Sounds like Nyx, which links him to his future baby brother xD)
I also loved Ormagöden, or Clementine. Kudos for those who get the reference. ;P

My main vote is for Skid, but I like Styx too.

I played around with Skid and Styx, named him Skid, and it didn't really feel right...

So I got a Certificate, renamed him to Styx, and it REALLY fits!
