I'm so glad I finally found the right place to post this question, because it's been bugging me for over a week now.

Since Shuurai got Amaranth (Azzere the Skyblade) a few months back, Amaranth began missing her mate and wanting him back with her, so a week ago, I ran out and tamed Washte Pawne. Problem is, I'm stumped on what to name him because I want a name that would fit with Amaranth, so the poor guy has been sitting in my stable unnamed for over a week now.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

Edit: He now goes by Callistephus. Thank you so much!

Hmm. I have a pair like that, Garnet (Azzere) and Lazuli (a WC black wind serpent) so I totally know what you mean about wanting the names to fit. I'm sure there are others on here that would be better able to say what herbs or flowers would suit his colours though...

Hmm. Nasturtium has yellow or red petals, but that's kind of a mouthful for a name. Here's a pic:

Thank you, I'll keep your suggestion in mind if I can't think of anything else for him.

Hmmm, a male name that goes with Amaranth? Here are a few suggestions ...

Rhododendron
Kaffir (lily)
Antirrhinum (genus name for snapdragons)
Callistephus (genus name for flowering plants related to the daisy family)
