Carrion Bird names....
I'm drawing a blank on what to name my newly aquired carrion bird and it's driving me off the wall.... Any ideas?
Much thanks to Saturo for the awesome signature.

I'd go for Screech.
I also exist on DeviantArt.

Re: Carrion Bird names....
Thinking of a more western theme, I came up with a few:
Bones
Tombstone
Quickdraw
Personally my favorite is "Bones". I know those blue vultures can be found by the Kodo Graveyard, plus it's descriptive yet simple, like your character's name. And in my opinion it quite clearly conveys the bird's personality. Or maybe that's just me.
I'm loving your story, btw. Good work!

Tweety Bird? /completelyserious
Lol, j/k.
How about... Devourer, Daggerbeak, Deathtalon, or some other name like that?
I like the name Bones for a carrion bird the most though.

Why Screech is an awesome name!Saturo wrote:I'd go for Screech.
My newfie brother-in-law would add this: there's a reason you never see Newfies drink screech.
Much gratitude to Spiritbinder for the signature and Vephriel for the avatar! <3

I -do- like Bones, for all of the above reasons...*rubs chin* I think I can implement it and maybe play it off in the bird's personality and little quirks.

Nevermore is always a classic.
Nightwing, Bloodfeather, Carrionsoup, Deathflight, Deadeye, Maggotchaser, Tombbuffet, Bonedancer, Bonesnap...
Thats all I got for now, yes I love combo names.

fustercluck.
I named my old rilla that as he had an uncanny way of pulling just WAY too much heat with thunderclap (before it became generic). Sounded like a good bird name too

I don't really feel like this is so much the "Post-Modern" era as much as its the "Pre-Zombie-Apocalpse" era. I consider myself more of a forward thinking guy and an era that just won't die is just as feasible as a coming era, where the dead come back.
