Hi!
i found those models in the new patch,
are those bosses of the raid, or there is a chance to have them tameable?

I think the storm crow is a mount, and I have a feeling the devilsaur MAY BE Thok, a boss is Siege. just my 2 cents

Not sure I'd want that Trex as a pet, since it appears to have "control devices" of Mogu orgin on it's neck and ankles. It also doesn't appear to have room for a saddle, so a boss (or add) is the most likely destination for the model.

the storm crow has "mount" on the model name. judging by the animations on wowhead i'd guess it's a glyphed version of the druid flight form and that we're not going to see it as a pet anytime soon.

The Stormcrow is a mount. The icon even says 'Stormcrowmount'.


Buuut, looking through the WMV files, removing the armor and other stuff from it does create a very - very nice beast models. The only problem would be that the ankle-parts are part of the armor. If they fix that, that'd be a great -- super-sexy beast.. or could be.

I wonder if the crow will be a multipassenger druid flight form thing? Like how they can glyph for the stag to be a mount.

Honestly? The only part that the removal of armor changes is that there is that the rings around the legs are part of the armor geosets and without it, a part of the legs is gone. Otherwise, this could someday be a really bitchin' kick-ass rare spawn hunter pet.

Oh my god that bird is gorgeous. Definitely drooling a bit at the prospect of taming one should it ever happen.

I've just wanted a good raven pet for years, but I'm not overly fond of the druid model crows (the ears bother me), and the minipet one is too low res and odd looking for my liking.

This new model is beautiful, and I'd even be happy with a plain black version without the thunder accents. I really love the shape of the head.

Y'know, I won't hold my breath either, but maybe -- eventually, Blizzard will consider it.



Anyway, I used to be pretty positive about what are basically updated models of older tameable pets becoming tameable, but after the kunchong and bat-fiasco, I am not so sure.

Ohhh, I'd love that as a hunter pet, or a new druid flight form, or a reasonable obtainable mount!

T-rex looks like a raid boss or raid mob.

Omg Same!!! The new ravens added just made me sad with their animations and models. The way they 'bob' up and down like a fishing lure with the awkward "I'm slowly falling backwards" wobble, just looks really awkward (not to mention not very menacing ) And the model is not bad for a seagull, but not so much a raven/crow if you've ever seen a real one. And trust me, if they had a good raven/crow pet, I'd be allll over it

In fact when AMOC came out I was so dam excited I drew this little sketch in anticipation

Yeah, I'm trying not to hold my breath either Qraljar. Still, this makes me hopeful for future birds at least. Maybe next expansion?

I would like that raven as a spirit beast, just saying

My druid would be very happy with that as her flight form

If that raven is a new spirit beast, I'm coming back to WoW. o___o

-slowly raises hand- I'd be on the wagon to make that raven tameable. Having a stormcrow like that would be just amazing, even if it would be a spirit beast.

I love this drawing! I think raven pets go so well with Worgen. Well, if we had a real raven pet they would.

It would be so awesome if they made a tamable version of the mount. For awhile I was running around with the little model of one on my Ravenlord, but it felt more like a non-combat pet (I am desperate for a "raven themed" hunter). A rare pet would be ideal, but I would even be excited if it was just a plain, old mob. I'm honestly surprised, with all the new fancy bird mounts, that they haven't introduced a hunter bird with updated textures. Now is their chance! *crosses fingers*
