I am exceptionally excited they're changing our weapon sounds. Guns are so annoying. lol

what, are they adding silencers to guns?
it's not like there's much potential variety in gun sounds.
a gun is a gun is a gun. it will pretty much always be loud.
unless they decide to give us phasers.

I suspect guns will still be much noisier than bows and crossbows. I think there will be a difference between the sound of bows and crossbows instead of being the same like they are now. Guns will probably only get a reduction in volume.

I already use a gun silencer mod... DX

When I was playing around on the demo, the gun sounds were pretty nice! They seemed like an actual gun silencer, but with a little more pop and, more importantly, more variety in the firing sounds than your standard *BLAM* *BOOM* *POW* that we all know.

It was really nice and I hope that there'll be some footage or sound files made available soon so people could listen.

Personally, I'm the exact opposite. I can't stand how quiet bows and crossbows are. I mean, how are you supposed to know when you fire your shots in half the time when the *twang twang* of your bow is bled out by the soothing sounds of SCHWINGFWOOMPEWPEWFWOOOMBROOOOOOOAAAARRGGHHHSHINGSHINGSHINGFWONGBOOMBZZZZZAAZAZAAAAPFYUUUUUUUUM?

Haha same here, fish When I was starting wow and trying different race/class combos, I couldn't find that one sweet place to call "mine" untill I've tried a dwarven huntress. Thundering gun + roaring bear = LUV<3

...i am the only one i know...but i like the gun sound

if i transmog my weapon into a bow/cross bow my dps decreases by 5-10%.

After all these years i use the sound as part of my rotation.

Nah I like the gun sound but only on certain toons like my worgen cause it suits them.

Honestly, I'm shocked that no one has yet brought this up. If new weapon sounds end up being like that, I won't complain.

I love the sound of my gun, when I can't hear it (from a polymorph outfit etc) I start panicking. Especially during barrage, ratatatat. The gunshots help me remember to do my 'rotation'.
