Breeding pets in your garrison, chance at epics..

Huh...I wonder what pets count...would they have egg groups like in Pokémon or they have to breed with their own kind? *wonders if Tyrael would be breedable...* ....my brain hurts now.

Hrm. I like the idea of picking the breed, but I dislike the idea the system is becoming even more complicated. I wish they'd just remove goddamned breed variation altogether and keep it simple.

Yeah, I'm still working on current content.

1st question (Because lets be honest, if you want a pet, you will want an epic/the best version) can you now just breed 2 poor quality versions of a pet and get an epic? (thus negating all your rare versions you've already collected....?)

Do they need to be lvl 25 to breed?

Do they both have to be lvl 25 to breed (the male and female)

Do they have to be the same Quality to breed? (the male and female)

I could just go on and on....

This is why I gave up on mini pets. Gender types and stat variation, etc... It's such a MASSIVE time sink already and now.... even bigger

I'll leave all the mini pet stuff to ya'll.. I'll be working on my garrison...

Actually after looking at the post, it's not so much "breeding" as you are "merging" two pets together, which would make things far simpler. as for the Question on there about promotional pets (or pets that are no longer/limited obtainable) I'd think that they would work out as the "base" creature who's stat is increased. As well as say, two "base" type pets could not be merged together.
As for "egg groups" I could see it working along the lines of what type of pet they are. "dragon with dragon" "beast to beast" "mech merged to mech" etc...

I look forward to seeing more info on pet merging!!

I literally cannot make heads or tales of how the process will work And I really don't know how to feel if minipets got genders...

Technically, they already have them. One of the easiest ways to check is this website. I completely ignore that when I'm naming mine, however!

I'm getting a 'The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.' error when I try to 'fetch pets' xD

What I want to know is if this will allow you to sell the offspring of pets you can only get in the wild. Like say you get an epic quality Minfernal. can you sell that? Or will it be account bound like its parents?

As long as I can breed pets and somehow get a snow leopard cub.

I suspect it will simply be: have two of the same pet, neither of them the breed you want? Merge them and get that breed!

That was my 2nd thought unfortunately, I've been dusting off Nocturne far more recently than DQM (like - I currently am)
