Level 90 training quests

Unread post by Redith »

I heard they were going to do a training quest to teach you how to play your boosted toon. What happened to that?

Thats still gonna happen in WoD but for now they presumed people wernt 100% new to the game. If I was new I sure as hell wouldent fork out $50 instantly for a new expac I wont see for a while.

I assume it will go live with the 6.0 pre-expansion patch.

I got a boost from per-ordering WOD. Needless to say, I have no idea what I'm doing with this wind walker monk. :o

I boosted my Warlock to 90 and have tried out a couple of ToT LFR raids. I didn't do so good even with half my gear being lvl496 from Timeless Isle. I averaged about 35k dps on bosses with a high of 61 on Horridon. Obviously I need to study the Demonology rotation and beat on training dummies a bit. :-) It's even very hard for me to kill most of the elite mobs on Timeless Isle. The turtles, crabs, and Yaungol guys are tough and kill me at times. I only do okay on the ones close to the arena but haven't attempted the snakes yet.

When I dual-box on Timeless, I've noticed that no matter what I do with my Hunter main, the snakes will target ALL of their wrath, all of their pent up childhood frustrations, every ounce of vitriol they have against some ex who dumped them on prom night... and concentrate SOLELY on my Warlock secondary toon. I have NO idea why, but it looks more and more like the snakes have a thing for magic-users. Or they really think my Lock looks silly in those robes. It's a toss-up.

A bit of palindromic wisdom:
"Step on no pets!"
Casual player.. don't raid, don't PvP. Suffer from extreme altitis
I love pets - combat or non.
