Dragon Soul LFR
Good news mog lovers! They're gonna put in an NPC that will allow you to go through DS LFR with a group.

FYI most achieves can only be done on normal/heroic. Sounds like this change is only to give access to transmog items that aren't currently accessible.Xenaslove wrote:Even if you are 90? So I can finally get my Dragon Soul achievements yay
I hope they lift the restrictions on the items you can get - I have a normal mode Gurthalak on my hunter but really want the blue colored LFR one.

Re: Dragon Soul LFR
Right. The only LFR achievement is completing the raid. That's all. Any other achievements are normal/heroic only.peanutbuttercup wrote:FYI most achieves can only be done on normal/heroic. Was... there anything that was tamable in that place? I honestly don't remember. And if so, why would LFR have pets there that wouldn't be in Normal or Heroic too?Kurasu wrote:And don't forget the LFR only pets! This is amazing news.

Uh, sounds like there's some confusion here between ToT and DS, and hunter pets and battle pets?Shinryu Masaki wrote:Was... there anything that was tamable in that place? I honestly don't remember. DS = Dragon Soul from Cata. There are no tameable hunter pets in the instance (that I'm aware of... the trash is all elementals, dragons, humanoids and oozes), nor were there battle pets as raid drops until ToT.

Re: Dragon Soul LFR
Well hopefully Kurasu comes back soon to explain what he meant. Maybe it was a typo? Anyway. I'm really happy to finally be able to finish my druid's DS LFR set. It was a real pain in the ass to gather between the release of it and the time they changed it to personal loot. So many people Needing on everything they could, which was even more annoying when it was Normal or Heroic geared folks. While it's true they could have been rolling on it for transmog, taking those pieces away from people who where there to gear up wasn't nice at all.

Re: Dragon Soul LFR
Actually, I meant battle pets. But that was my memory playing Silly Buggers with me. Ahem. Sorry.
It *does*, however, open up explanations for how we'll be able to obtain LFR battle pets in other dungeons later on, most likely.

Re: Dragon Soul LFR
Thank goodness for this!!!! It also means for me that if they are aware of the removal of these colour ways for the DS gear, they will likely add a way to obtain the LFR MOP variations after we out level MOP.
Which in turn means I won’t have to try and run all the old MOP LFR to fill the gaps (as I assumed they'd be removed also). I just wish they'd implement a wardrobe, and the sooner the better. My Bags, they be bursting!!!!

I've been stressing over getting the MoP LFR gear that I like because I was worried of not being able to obtain it again!
Re: Dragon Soul LFR
If you're looking for achievements, there's frequently DS achievement groups. They skip a few (holding hands, which a hunter can solo on normal. And the one where you spin Deathwing on spine is too frustrating in some groups).
I hope they go through with this, or at least add an npc that lets you exchange normal mode drops for LFR skinned items. I can't wait to get my felguard Kiril and/or Gurthalak. In pugs, there's always competition for them.
Now if only I could get my gnome priest some Timelord items.
