I don't know that we need things back, just flat out buff the stuff we have. Simple, no muss, easy to tune, no guesswork.

I saw this recently:

Still take it with a grain of salt but looks like at least we'll be doing considerably better at 100; I'm sure the draenor perks are playing a role in this. Plus with the balance changes and buff we'll be getting, I'm really hopeful we'll be in a good spot again.

If that is correct, it's exactly where we would want to be. Near the top with mythic gear means we'll scale up towards the top, peaking at the right time.
