Ravager mount in WoD? I need it in my life!

I need this. I need it so hard. (Okay, that sounds wrong. Sorry.)

Also, an unarmored model for a hunter pet, please! I've been hoping for a new Ravager model for WoD!

Compare the part of the head you can see (ignoring the skull), and yes, it does appear to be a more bestial type of Ravager. And if they don't have an unarmored version for it for a hunter pet, it'll be seriously criminal. xD

Hmh.. yeah. Ravagers have really undergone a huge change. But man, does the possibility of a hunter pet version of this creature excite me. I'm a huge lover of Ravagers (my first pet since I started WoW early TBC), but after a while, I couldn't take the old models any more. This model is just gorgeous. Between this and the Dragonfly, leaving WoW for the duration of Warlords will be hard..

To me it looks more like some sort of silithid. I will wait and see what Blizz calls it.

Well, that's because it uses the Silithid skeleton! xP

Ooooh! That is pretty cool looking. I probably wouldn't have thought ravager at first glance either, with the silithid skeleton, but for a mount I could see why they'd use it. I wonder what it would look like without the armor.

Still sad it's not the ikea chair mount. ;)

Yeah, hard to tell at first glance, but a good look at the head sorta confirms the Ravager identity for me. And I hope there is a version of it without armor for hunters to tame. Especially if it really is a Ravager. (which I am confident it is)

Hmm, actually squinting underneath the mask, it does look more like an insect with possibly 6 eyes. Was this model labeled a ravager or is just a guess by the head spike? I agree that the spike looks reminiscent of the ravager one, but everything else looks like it might be some other type of insect entirely.

No file. It was advertised by Blizzard on Twitter. And eh, aside from at least one extra set of eyes, the jaw, the shape of the head, etc. are reminding me of ravagers.

I want it as a mount, but moreso, I just want it as a hunter pet. Even if it's not a Ravager.. please let it be tameable. Yeah, I'm the greedy type of hunter, I suppose. :<

This thing looks a little more ancient to me. Aside from the silithid skeleton, things like the multiple eyes and the wingy membrane on its back make me think its something of a different origin. IDK though, maybe some ancient primal ravager tank ancestor.

Aren't mounts advertised like this either store or RAF? We just got a new RAF so maybe store? Too early to tell, no doubt.

I'd say Ravanger Pre-Outland as well, just way to many design choices on it that match.
That said I am VERY very glad to see a ravanger, they were such an iconic pet in BC that I would have been sad not to see them preturn? in some way in WoD

The more I look at it, the more I'm loving it, just awesome :D

I'm in the silithid camp on this one. The design is very much what I would expect from an upgraded silithid. Ravagers are head-up, bum-down. This is unequivocally the reverse. The only way that thing could morph into a BC ravager was if it completely flipped upside-down and twisted its legs backwards. Also, wings (which silithid mounts don't have, but regular silithids do).

Maybe silithids originally came from Draenor. The first sign of them on Azeroth was when they appeared in the Well of Eternity, wasn't it?

I don't care what it is I need it in my life! That this is utterly gorgeous. its exactly the kind of thing I would love to run with. I was hoping ravagers would get an updated model and if this is it then I have gone from hating the family to loving it. It does scream silithid to me though but I always thought the ravager body was a very illogical thing that needed a bi overhaul.
Lets not overlook the huge change to hydras either. Anything can happen.
