I recently tweeted Jeremy regarding Clefthoofs and Talbulks, and this was his response!

Still working out final implementation of the WoD families. Thinking maybe a Stag family w/deer, talbuk, MoP stags, etc.

I hope I didn't sound too greedy in my response. I just really want those armored clefthoofs. : /

Oh goodness I hope this happens! I'm glad everyone else got their hydras and stuff, but the one thing I kept hoping for through the last two xpacs were stags!

Maybe if we show enough excitement over here it'll convince them. :D

I'm honestly so thrilled that they're being considered though. As cute as Rylaks are, they just don't have the same oomph as a brand new tameable beast family would due to their similarities with Chimaeras. And, excluding Rylaks, we only have the 2 other families to look forward to (which are both awesome, especially hydras for me), but that seems like such a lackluster amount. Stags and tabluks would make me so happy, and I really do think they would fit well with the theme of Draenor. :)

*crossing fingers hopefully*

I was thinking the same thing.

I can't even begin to describe how much I've wanted to tame stags ever since I traipsed my nooby way into Ashenvale and stopped dead in my tracks at the sight of those wonderful black ones. As I ventured further into Azeroth, I came across Rams (MUST HAVE) and later, Talbuks. With the addition of the absolutely amazing MoP stags, I don't think I've had a day of huntering go by without wanting one (or ten) ungulates (per hunter ). Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore the goats, but they are far too lonely in that family! :D

I could get behind this. Love the black stags.

My only concern is that if they decide to re-merge rylaks with chimeras- which i hope they will- and replace them with stags, we will one again be missing an exotic family. I don't personally feel that stags could or should be made exotic. just speculation though.

Yep, the black ones have been calling to me since Vanilla as well. *swoon* And talbuks, well, they're gorgeous looking and I've always daydreamed about taming one. I don't even care if their older models have some odd animations, I will get one in a heartbeat. :)

The best thing about Stags is, besides all of their beautiful and unique looks, they have such a massive range of diversity about them. A lot more than some families could even cover.

A thread on the forums to spread some of the excitement, and give Blizzard a positive response to this idea. Support would be appreciated. :)

Ok I have been really thinking of quitting in September until I read this for so long I have been wanting to tame a stag or talbuk and if this indeed is going to happen then by all means I will go back to staying 90 forever I know just over taming hunter pets but hey they are two I have been wanting like I said and if I am 90 forever I won't have to deal with the wod stuff.

I don't know which groups they may end up including, but I guess anything from Rams onwards in this list:
http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... 10346#rams
is a potential candidate there somewhere.

someone need to give this link (http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... 10346#rams) to Jeremy XD
btw, it is cool for stags, but personally i would focus on more cool-looking pets already ready. Like Phoenix, fire birds (with the new model added tonight), or kunchongs.

and rhinos still have few models in the family... :(
