Re: Stag family possibility
I'm honestly so thrilled that they're being considered though. As cute as Rylaks are, they just don't have the same oomph as a brand new tameable beast family would due to their similarities with Chimaeras. And, excluding Rylaks, we only have the 2 other families to look forward to (which are both awesome, especially hydras for me), but that seems like such a lackluster amount. Stags and tabluks would make me so happy, and I really do think they would fit well with the theme of Draenor.
*crossing fingers hopefully*

Re: Stag family possibility
I was thinking the same thing.Vephriel wrote:Maybe if we show enough excitement over here it'll convince them.
I can't even begin to describe how much I've wanted to tame stags ever since I traipsed my nooby way into Ashenvale and stopped dead in my tracks at the sight of those wonderful black ones. As I ventured further into Azeroth, I came across Rams (MUST HAVE) and later, Talbuks. With the addition of the absolutely amazing MoP stags, I don't think I've had a day of huntering go by without wanting one (or ten) ungulates (per hunter ). Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore the goats, but they are far too lonely in that family!

Re: Stag family possibility
My only concern is that if they decide to re-merge rylaks with chimeras- which i hope they will- and replace them with stags, we will one again be missing an exotic family. I don't personally feel that stags could or should be made exotic. just speculation though.

Re: Stag family possibility
btw, it is cool for stags, but personally i would focus on more cool-looking pets already ready. Like Phoenix, fire birds (with the new model added tonight), or kunchongs.
and rhinos still have few models in the family...
